Ulyses Osuna is the founder of Influencer Press, a PR firm that has helped clients including Ed Mylett, Brandon Dawson, Codie Sanchez, Jeff Fenster, and Iman Gadzhi secure media coverage and build authority. He has been interviewed by Dr. Phil on Episode 573 of his podcast ("Media Psyops Exposed"), by CNBC anchor Hilary Lane, and by the original Shark Tank shark Kevin Harrington. He has been a panelist on Nasdaq TradeTalks and featured on the homepage of Entrepreneur.com. He hosts his own show from a $3.5M studio recently acquired by SiriusXM. He started Influencer Press at 19 with no degree, no connections, and no industry background, from a town of 10,000 people, and built it into one of the most recognized founder-PR firms in the industry.
About Ulyses Osuna
The arc
Ulyses Osuna’s career in media did not begin in a PR firm. It began with a website. He discovered online marketing at 17 and built the official ForrestGump.com fan site, going on to win a national web design competition for the work. The early success produced something rare for a teenager in a town of 10,000 people: a scholarship to attend HubSpot’s Inbound15 conference. He couldn’t afford a hotel and planned to stay in a homeless shelter for the duration. His uncles intervened.
By 19, he was writing as a contributor for Entrepreneur, HuffPost, and Success Magazine, establishing himself in the media world through earned bylines before he had ever placed a story for a client. By 20, he had founded Influencer Press, the firm that now operates as a premier public relations agency for entrepreneurs and founders building authority in their categories.
The firm
Influencer Press has worked with industry leaders including Ed Mylett, Brandon Dawson (CEO of Cardone Ventures, who exited Audigy Group for $151 million), Codie Sanchez (founder of Contrarian Thinking, co-owner of ResiBrands), Jeff Fenster (founder of Everbowl), and Iman Gadzhi. Across these engagements the firm has secured placements in Forbes, Inc., Entrepreneur, Business Insider, USA Today, VentureBeat, Yahoo Finance, Fox5, and outlets across television, radio, and digital media. The firm’s full operating philosophy is at /methodology; the operational standards governing how engagements are run are at /transparency.
The credentials
Ulyses has been a featured guest on Dr. Phil’s podcast, Episode 573, “Media Psyops Exposed”, a long-form conversation on media manipulation, deepfakes, and how public trust gets built and broken in an AI-mediated information environment. He has been interviewed by CNBC anchor Hilary Lane, with the segment airing across CNBC’s New York-based national distribution. He has been interviewed by Kevin Harrington, the original Shark Tank shark and founder of the modern infomercial industry. He has appeared as a panelist on Nasdaq TradeTalks, on a panel about how policymakers and business leaders can collaborate on responsible AI adoption.
He has been featured on the homepage of Entrepreneur.com and has been published in Forbes, Inc., HuffPost, and other major publications.
He hosts his own show from a $3.5 million studio in Las Vegas, recently acquired by SiriusXM (formerly Blue Wire). The show features long-form interviews with operators, founders, and category experts.
The thesis
What separates Influencer Press from traditional PR is captured in a single sentence Ulyses has repeated across podcasts, conferences, and the firm’s own published materials: earned media is gambling, paid media is a strategy. The full argument for why (the role of controlled narrative in shaping perception, the pre-influence model drawn from Robert Cialdini’s research, the sequencing methodology that makes individual placements compound into authority, and the AI/synthetic-media environment that makes all of this more urgent than it was a decade ago) is at /methodology.
The personal history that produced the thesis (including a 2017 episode in which Ulyses placed a fabricated story by a subject who turned out to be a fraud, and what changed about how the firm operates as a result) is at /story.
